Fighting Depression - Make It Go Away

Depression-go away.
You were not created to live depressed and defeated. You should be living a positively victorious life! Be strong, be happy. It's much more conducive to a healthy and rewarding life.
Recognize the problem of depression. Analyze the triggers-what makes you more depressed. Utilize the tips and suggestions available and take some steps to a happier you.
Remember what is important in your life, such as your family and friends. Those are the things that you would miss the most should they not be around. Cherish the time you have with them. They can lift you up out of the depressing hole you sometimes feel you are in. When you get that defeated, down-in-the-dumps feeling-- call someone who will perk you up.
Go have a coffee and a donut or go to the park and just sit on a bench. Do something that is relaxing and refreshing. Don't let the blahs rule you. You really need to keep things in perspective. Deal with issues as they arise, and then let them go. Don't carry burdens around forever.
Some issues can't be solved, they must be accepted. Do so and carry on with positive thoughts and actions, and you will feel better for it. It's not whether the glass is half full or half empty. It's usually how long you hold on to it. That's what makes it a heavy load if you never put it down. Get rid of troubles and worries as quickly as you can.
Be determined to stand tall and rise above the conflicts that come your way. Sometimes you may need to be the bigger person and just walk away. That may take more work than fighting the cause. Think about what the end result will be, and will it have been worth it. Smile and drop it if you can.
Do things that make you feel good. Whether it's a hobby, social time, or family time. If it makes you happy, do more of it.
Try something new and exciting. Don't get stuck in the same old rut every day. You may just find that you enjoy a new hobby or activity.
Plan a quiet walk through the woods. Take a camera, binoculars and a bottle of water with you for a fully enjoyable excursion. Enjoy the peace and reflect on the things you want for yourself.
Tour your town as if you were a tourist. Check out some stores you never have before or just window shop. Say hello and smile at people along the way.
Gardening for 30 minutes can significantly drop your stress level and boost your mood. It is nice to look at and it is a soothingly relaxing way to spend some time with yourself. It can also be rewarding to see the growth the garden makes. Knowing you did this yourself can boost your confidence and encourage you to do other things as well.
There are many ways to pull yourself out of depressing thoughts and feelings. Don't feel defeated, feel strong. Take control of your life and become the person you want to be.
